Features
More prepared. More connected.
Practical tools for Taiwan’s trails, from planning at home to remembering the climb.
Offline maps and GPX routes
Browse more than 1,100 GPX routes. Download maps before leaving internet coverage. The free plan includes route maps for two routes; Explorer adds full-area offline maps and custom GPX import and export.
Offline maps do not make family tracking work without a connection. Carry a separate navigation backup and check current trail conditions.
Offline map details (Chinese) →Family location sharing
Turn on tracking and share your link with someone you trust. The free and Pro plans offer updates about every 30 minutes; Explorer offers more frequent updates, about every 2–5 minutes. Actual delivery depends on reception, permissions, battery and device conditions.
A shared trip plan communicates your intended route and return time. It does not by itself enable live location tracking or dispatch rescuers.
How tracking works (Chinese) →Digital Safety Line
Nearby teammates connect their phones over Bluetooth. The app helps the group notice a broken connection and exchanges location information between team members. Terrain and obstructions affect range; it is not a guaranteed-distance alarm.
Joining a team also starts the separate family-tracking feature, which uploads location to Firebase when connectivity is available. You choose whether to share the family tracking link. Bluetooth team communication itself does not pass through PEAKSTW’s servers.
Digital Safety Line details (Chinese) →Summit records and 3D memories
Record visits to the 100 Baiyue and 100 Small Baiyue, collect achievements and maintain your hiking history. Preview a GPX route in the free web tool or revisit recorded hikes with the app’s 3D replay feature.
Try the 3D route preview (Chinese) →Prepare for a hike
Check official access and permit requirements, download maps, charge your devices and tell a trusted contact when you expect to return. The app supports your preparation; it does not replace navigation skills, equipment or emergency services.
Available for iPhone and Android. The app interface is currently in Traditional Chinese. This website is available in English.
